What is this Message Board all about?

This Message Board & Discussion Group is primarily for 78-79 Broncos and similar Ford trucks like the 73-79 F-Series pickups. This board started out as the small message board area for ProjectBronco.COM, but has since grown into a popular place where people who own the often forgotten Ford trucks of the mid-to-late seventy's can find the information and the specialized help they need.

Why another Ford Truck message board?

Well, sure there are other Ford Truck message boards out there, but they are all-inclusive and focus mainly on newer, more popular vehicles. These boards are fantastic if you own something like a 1998 Expedition or a 2000 F-150, but if you own a 73-79 Ford Truck, you need more personal, specialized information from true '70s models Ford truck owners.

Is this site owned by a company or a large for-profit corporation?

Nope! This site is owned by a TRUE diehard Ford truck fan who was feed up with the lack of information on the Internet for 73-79 Ford Trucks and 78-79 Broncos. All the other large Ford truck sites out there on the Net exist for one reason AND ONE REASON ONLY! -- and that is to make money. While there's nothing wrong with that at all, the fact remains that there is very little money to be made from the relatively small number of '70s era Ford truck owners out there so the big sites go where the money is -- New Vehicles!

Is this site run on some guy's computer in a moldy basement somewhere?

Far from it. This site is running on a commercial Unix server and is online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The owner of this is dedicated to keeping this site online so long as there are ANY 73-79 Ford trucks still on the roads!

Who can participate in this Message Board?

Anyone who has an old Ford truck and needs help or wishes to help others with the same.

Are there any rules on this board?

Absolutely! This site is a family-oriented site and it is run as such. Foul language, racist or sexual remarks, and pornography WILL NOT BE TOLERATED on this board. This board is monitored and any message containing such content will be deleted. Violators will be banned from this board.

Is this a place where I can post & advertise products for my business?

No. Commercial advertising is not allowed on this board. If you sell or manufacture products for 73-79 Ford trucks and wish to advertise on this site, then please contact the owner for more information.

Can I post items I have for sale on this board?

Yes, as long it is for or has something to do with 73-79 Ford trucks, 78-79 Broncos, and similar vehicles and you are a private seller and not representing a company or business.

I'm under the age of 13. Can I participate in the message boards?

No, children under the age of 13 by law are not allowed to participate in discussion or message forums with out first obtaining a signed COBRA form from your parents or legal guardian. Yea, I know it's stupid but complain to your congressman, not me!

I'm just a beginner and I really need help. Have I come to right place?

You bet! People who are new to 4-wheeling and 4x4 trucks often have questions that may seem simple to many but are legitimate questions that need to be answered. All "newbies" are welcome here!
