the pictures I posted is the 88-97 brackets on a 460

you need to change the high pressure hose to accept the older style fitting

hose from a 83 460 truck should do you fine
if your rig is a 88 rig

[Machine Gun] [Cussing] well i order a pump from o'reily and went to pick it up and had to hit the brakes. the counter person opened the box and there was the nice black pump waiting to get put on my bronco until the counter person turned the pump around and there was NO horseshoe adapter on the front of the pump. the person behind the counter called about the MISSING PIECE and the reply was that I NEEDED TO GET THE ONE OFF THE OLD PUMP. i told the person that i would be back and when i did i brought in pictures from this website and Cardone website that showed the horseshoe adapter bracket on the front. the counter person is now trying to get the bracket or get the pump with the bracket already mounted. well O'Reilly's finally came thru and i have the pump and it will be going in this weekend. it has taken over a month to get it. good thing i am not in a hurry.

just an interesting question though: What fluid should i use in it? i was think of trying the Lucas power steering fluid or if royal purple has a power steering fluid.
anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Type F for me as well, although I am sure the other fluids would be fine.

Oreilly's had one last pump. As the counter guy tells me it was the last one they had in the USA. I picked it up this morning. Can't wait to put it on.
